Product Description
Benelli's R1 rifle takes the sting out of magnum loads. Just imagine a .300 Winchester Magnum that feels like you're shooting a light .270, and you'll understand what this rifle from Benelli is all about. The R1, with its ComforTech recoil dampening stock, cuts felt recoil. To put it more graphically, other high-powered rifles kick about twice as hard. Three different thicknesses of quick-change pads for adjusting length-of-pull and three different comb inserts to adjust for drop are available. Also included is a totally unique shim kit to make precise stock adjustments for drop and cast, providing a truly custom fit. |

This is an awesome gun. I swear, the recoil is like a 270wm. We bought this gun (300wsm) for the wife because she's a little tiny lady (5' tall) and she has taken white tails with it at 165 yards. Very accurate gun with good follow up shots.

I heard a lot of good reviews on this gun, but now that I own one, I can tell you first hand about the gun. Accuracy...on the scale of 1-10, is about a 7.5. The most amazing thing about this gun is how much it kicks. My .338 Win. Mag. doesn't kick near this much. I don't like it at all.
