The kit includes a StockGuard foam insert made from 50 lb. high-density EVA foam to promote proper eye alignment with your scope or boresight and five cheek pads which allow you to precisely achieve your desired stock height for improved accuracy and recoil impact reduction. Inserts are easily installed without gunsmithing and are not permanent. Use for larger scopes, slug guns with low sloping stocks or any gun that requires proper eye alignment. Made in the U.S.A.

    I bought this to raise the Point Of Impact on my Remington 1100 for TRAP use. It works great and is easy to adjust. Also, prevents check slap for those who shoot handicap loads, 1300 + FPS. Great for those that can't afford a gunsmith or a new stock!!

    The product does what it was designed to do, but is extremely difficult to install. The picture is a bit deceiving too, because there is no stitching around the raised portion to hold the foam in place. It does what I wanted it to, and with some extra care, doesn't look too bad at all, but am I glad that I got the height right the first time. I wouldn't want to wrestle with it again to make an adjustment. I would recommend this to someone, but would also caution them about the difficult installation.

    The perfect answer to those who need to raise their eye's line of sight to line up with a scope or irons on you rifle or shotgun PERFECTLY without gunsmithing. I paid over $40 for similar products that adjust by SANDING DOWN the riser to fit. This design is much easier to adjust and comfortable. Improved accuracy. As soon as my season is over I am putting this on every one of my scoped rifles.

        Bought this for wife's rem model 7, 243 win. I was afraid it might be loose on the smaller stock but it fit pretty snug, seems to stay put. Gets her eye to the right height for scope. Big help for her shooting.

            If this product wasn't such a PIA to install, I may have given it 4 or 5 stars. It took me over an hour and I finally had to duct tape the inserts to the stock of the Mosin-Nagant M44 carbine. However, it does do the job as advertised.

                Anyone who has tried to find a rifle for a youth knows that no company makes a stock that fits one properly. It seems all they do is shorten the length of pull on the stock but do nothing to raise the height of the comb. The result is a stock that allows the child to reach the trigger but their cheek weld is non-existent when looking through the scope. Note to gun manufacturers, yes, a child's arms are shorter than an adult's but guess what, their head is a lot smaller too! I bought this item at our local Gander Mountain store and it has worked out great for my son. It allows a proper cheek weld and eye alignment with the scope. It makes shooting the rifle comfortable. I believe this product is the difference between success and failure for any youth rifle.
