Product Description
bear_archery The Bear Encounter Ready-To-Hunt Package is heavy on features but light on your wallet. The redesigned cam delivers a smoother draw and higher speeds, while the redesigned grip reduces hand torque. Contra-Band strings and DynaFlight cables eliminate string stretch and peep rotation to offer an incredibly quiet shot. Zero tolerance limb cup keeps the bow limbs consistently aligned. The Bear Encounter boasts the new rotating, modular E2 cam which is easy drawing and adjustable from 27-32" in draw length.

Package includes Trophy Ridge Whisker Biscuit arrow rest, Trophy Ridge 3-pin fiber optic sight, string peep sight with 5mm diameter hole, Trophy Ridge bow quiver, and Trophy Ridge stabilizer with braided bow sling. Nock loop also comes pre-installed.

    Budget Minded Bow for Tall Shooters

      My most comfortable draw length is a bit over 31" so most of the other bows I tried, which don't adjust quite that high, felt cramped. The Bear Encounter adjusts to 32" max draw length, so for a tall shooter like me, it was a good choice. It is also a single cam bow with a 7" brace height and is very easy to set up so if archery isn't your consuming passion, this bow makes shooting simple and easy. If your interest in archery is more advanced, and you want all the latest, greatest bells and whistles and blazing fast IBO speed (so you can find out that you missed your target a few milliseconds sooner) you'll probably want to spend several hundred more on a bow that has a much more comprehensive marketing program behind it. Also, if your arms are on the shorter end of average, this bow might not start with a high enough speed to put you where you want to be after you set it up for your draw length. Remember you'll typically lose about 10fps from top-speed for every inch of reduction in draw-length.

        Wanted a bow but have a limited budget and I was not disappointed. This bow is light, fast and deadly quiet, in fact I am very impressed with how quiet it is! You wont have to spend a lot to get a quality bow with this one! I love it!
