Q:what scope mounts do you recamend i us i have a 3-12-50Asked on 1/9/2010 by rooster from millville pa
A:Take it to a gun shop, even at bass pro shops, with your gun and they will get you set up. If your gun has weaver style mounts you will need a weaver type rings. And b/c this a 50mm it will require a off-set ring on the front. But, the off-set is the same price as regular.Answered on 2/10/2010 by GI Rooster from DFW, TX
Q:will this scope mount on a 12 ga shotgun and what mounts would I needAsked on 11/20/2009 by bob from plattsburgh ny
A:with the correct mounts but, at 12 power it will be hard to track the doves while they fly over. I would recommend keeping it on a low power while bird hunting.Answered on 2/10/2010 by GI Rooster from DFW, TX

A:Yes, a watch type battery comes with it. I never turn on the illuminated retina. I shoot it with it off. It is just like any other scope when it you turn off the illumination. But i have played with it while hunting and it does help to turn it on at dusk and dawn.Answered on 2/10/2010 by GI Rooster from DFW, TX
