Product DescriptionThe Barska GLX 5mW Red Laser Sight with built-in Picatinny Rail is designed with an accessory rail mounted conveniently under the laser with a stabilizing cross bar insert for added support. The compact mount allows secure mounting to the shortest of rails on handguns and rifles. Its T6 aluminum body provides a strong, stable platform to mount accessories to its integrated military standard picatinny rail. Designed to withstand extremely high-impact shock generated by large caliber rifles and handguns and is equally at home on a rifle's picatinny rail forends or on a handgun's bottom rail.
Turning the laser on is easy with the on/off slide switch and can also be bypassed by adding a cable pressure switch (included) which is securely screwed to the back of the laser. Sight produces a highly visible intense red laser beam for accurate targeting day or night. Standard windage and elevation adjustments are accessible externally on the front side and bottom of the laser. Powered by a high capacity CR-123A lithium battery (included) and backed by Barska's one-year laser warranty.

Q:how far does the laser show?Asked on 1/14/2013 by Anonymous
A:A 5mw Class II/Class IIIr green or red Laser in dark/night conditions are typically good up to 1/4 mile. Fog, haze, and other airborn particulates will reduce this range. And, most people would need an optical scope to see the dot at that range, anyway. Hope this helps.Answered on 8/16/2013 by Daemon_ZOGG from Woodlands, TX
Q:Can I mount this on my Ruger LCP?Asked on 6/24/2012 by Lenny from Ocala, FL
A:No, you need either a picatinny or weaver rail. There is a laser made specifically for the LCP that mounts in front of the trigger guard.Answered on 12/5/2012 by Marcus from Kodiak, AK
