Comments about Barnett Outdoors Llc Barnett Wildcat C5 Crossbow Package:

I bought the Barnett Wildcat about a month ago. I researched crossbows in this general priceline and went to stores to look at them. I really liked the feel of the wildcat due to the thumb hole grip. I ended up buying it at a local archery shop.
The guy that owns the shop has been in the archery business for years and he recommended this crossbow. He set up the bow with limbsavers and string silencers(you can only quiet these so much) He also set me up with Muzzy crosskill broadheads.
The package came with a quiver, three bolts and a red dot scope. I brought the bow home to sight it in and after the first shot the red dot scope broke. I called the guy and in 2 days he had me a new multi reticle scope in his shop.
I sighted it in after installing the scope and was hitting dead center bullseye at 50 yards ! In fact I would suggest shooting 1 bolt at a time. I shot one then split the first one with my next arrow.
I took it to the woods and 1 hour after climbing in my tree stand I was field dressing a deer.
About a 12 yard shot and the arrow had impacted and through the deer sticking in the ground. The deer fell about 15 yards from where I hit it.
I would definately recommend this crossbow but I would suggest the multi reticle scope instead of the red dot.
