        I am new to Elk hunting and wanted to use the most effective, humane ammunition available. I did a lot of research and settled on the Barnes VOR-TX ammo in 30 06, 180g. It proved to be exactly what I was hoping for. One shot quickly and humanely dispatched a 500 lb cow elk. I have every confidence in this ammo.
