Comments about Barefoot International Boom Extension:
A quality product from Barefoot International. This piece adds just enough length to get the person out of the chine spray. If you want to get into the barefoot sport, this is a necessary product.

I should have added the extention when I first purchased the boom. The cable clamp is very difficult to readjust for the change in length.

Comments about Barefoot International Boom Extension:
Had trouble last year barefooting short line handle from my boom because of the bad chine spray from my boat. Installed two of these extensions and I was barefooting on the 3rd try!! I'm so stoked! Barefoot Int'l. makes a great boom and accessories!! I've had no problems with any of their products in 3 years!

This is not the boom kit it is only an extension for item 10540. You have to have an inborad boat with the factory pylon just behind the driver's seat. There is also a set of cables the run from the outermost part of the boom up the the ski eye in the front of the boat (where you hook the winch cable to when loading and unloading the boat inot and out of the water) for support.Answered on 9/2/2009 by JUSTIN from OVERTONS TECHNICIAN

Q:
I saw an add for booms in the magazine Water Ski. Is this the boom that you advertised? We have a Bayliner stern drive. I am looking for a boom that we can teach the children and adults to ski with and also bare foot ski. What would you suggest.Asked on 6/13/2009 by jsoapy from Carbondale, PA2 answers
