Directions for Preparing
Per 1 cup dry mix: remove and discard oxygen absorber and thoroughly mix contents. Add 2 ¼ cups boiling water and stir well to fully submerge ingredients. Cover and let sit for 13 minutes. Stir, serve, and enjoy! For entire can, follow same procedure using 22 ½ cups boiling water instead. Note: directions set for elevation of 5,000’, with re-hydration time doubling every additional 5,000’.
For maximum shelf-life, don not open until ready to serve; once opened, contents should be consumed within 7 days; between consumption, reclose with provided lid; store at or below room temperature (70°F); generally, the lower the temperature, the longer the shelf-life, though temperatures at or below freezing may affect integrity of the can and should thus be avoided; cans should be stored in dry, well-ventilated area OFF the floor.
