Q:I have a bsa md624x40ir illuminated mil dot scope and am going to get a remington 700 243.I am mainly going to use the 700 for coyotes, feral hogs and deer. Will this scope be a good choce to use or if not what scope will? Thanks.Asked on 6/26/2010 by Anonymous from Amarillo, Tx
A:That is a high powered scope so it all depends on the range you plan on hitting the yotes at. However as for the scope its a good scope, I always reccomend staying away from illuminated retical scopes. The more stuff you put in them the more problems that can happen. I do reccomend the scope for long range target shooting. Would like to recomend a lighter power scope for hunting and maybe even the laser genetics ND3 to go on it for night hunting.
I think the BSA Catseye 312x44 (comes with push pull turrets) would do the job for you.I have had a lot of luck with BSA and the NON illuminated scopes come with lifetime warranty.Answered on 10/20/2010 by Nancy the Newbie from Barstow, CA
