Comments about Avery® Hi-Top Dog Boots:
These boots ddn't come off with activity but did not fit snug enough to stay in place. My dog ended up walking on the sides of the boots. My dog is active so boots were not serving the purpose. They might fit another dogs paws better. I liked the rubber molded bottoms if only they would stay in place.

Comments about Avery® Hi-Top Dog Boots:
Absolutely worthless, complete waste of money. Doesn't fit the shape of the dog's foot. My dog can't walk in them. The boot slides down the her foot and she ends up walking on the side of the boot, then they fall off. Can't use them, will just throw them away. Don't waste your money.

Comments about Avery® Hi-Top Dog Boots:
I've been very happy with these boots. The taller upper means they stay on my Rhodesian Ridgeback's feet better and he hasn't walked out of them yet. They aren't the toughest fabric or strongest construction, so I wouldn't recommend them for hunting or extended movement through heavy brush, but for snowy winter walks, they are great for keeping the dog's pads clear of snow and ice.
Pros
- Fun
- Good Value
- Nice tall boot
- Tough
Cons
- Sloppy fit on front paws
- Tough To Set Up

Comments about Avery® Hi-Top Dog Boots:
I bought these when my dog was hit by a truck 9 years ago. The vet was impressed as they covered his bandages at the time and kept him from his stitches. Since then he's romped in deep U.P. snow on days below 20 degrees and can stay out much longer than usual. Unfortunately we had to move to Minneapolis. Bagabones is now 11 years old and actually wants to wear his boots when we walk so he doesn't get chilled. He'll even fetch them for me! These are proving to be awesome city boots even if they don't hold up to the rigors of hunting.

Comments about Avery® Hi-Top Dog Boots:
I bought these boots for quail hunting in grass burr area. The boots stay on better than any others I have tried. However, they are poor quality. All 4 boots were ripped and torn up after 2 hours of hunting. Very disappointing for the money. They are also oversized versus the labeling. Would not buy these again.
Pros
- Well made
Cons
- Tough To Set Up
Best Uses

Comments about Avery® Hi-Top Dog Boots:
I hunt pheasants, grouse, and waterfowl and wanted some field boots for my dog because he got into some sand burs and it slowed him down a bit. These boots are too stiff. They are not the correct shape for a dog's foot nor do they allow for active movement. They are difficult to get on even with a calm dog. After they were on the boots slid down only after a few attempted steps. I am quite disappointed. Generally Avery makes quality products but this one is not one of them.
