                      I am very impressed with how bright the leds are in this light. I originally purchased the light as a back up for stormy and foggy conditions but, have since used it as a primary bow light. It was a very easy install.                         I have a standard light hole in the front of my Alumacraft boat. I have a trolling motor and want to make sure that this light can be seen over it. Does this connect to a pole of some sort?

                          It can be seen only from the front of the boat as required by law. At the rear you need a white light that should be installed in a pole for all around visibility.

                          This is not to be seen from the rear. It should be put in the bow and can only be seen from the front and the sides to comply with the USCG regulations At. the rear you need a white light put in a pole to be seen all around.
