Bought three of them and they worked as hoped. Actually had a pair of sunglasses fall off in the water and without this product would have been without my favorite pair of sunglasses.

Seadoo - lanyard

The catalog and phone rep. indicated the lanyard & key connector labeled Seadoo would fit and work on a 1996 model GTI Seadoo. The key mechanism is to small to fit this model and I had to add a clip to the end to attach my old key/socket to the lanyard.

This makes it awkard as the smaller key is pressed on the end of the cord and cannot be removed (a good design just wrong key socket) so both the old & new socket make it bulky and hard to keep on the switch to keep it energized. The old unit has a metal ring to make electrical contact - the new unit is just plastic and too small in diamater to fit over the switch.

    All products I have purchased from Overton's are superior quality compared to the original. The lanyards are sturdy, good color selection and easy to customized for use. A lanyard from Seadoo would have caused my over $80.00 because I had to pay addional cost for programming the kill switch. With Overton's product I was able to use the orinial key.

            the original was soft rubber and stretched out to where it no longer worked. this is hard plastic, and hopefully will hold up much longer. works great so far!
