Got it after a shoulder injury and could't use a treestand. Keeps you out of the wind and dry even in down pours. backpack carry is nice, I use with an old folding lawn chair, Room for extra gear. I replaced the hold down pins with tent pegs for a better hold. place some brush at the base to break up the outline. Is my favorite stand.

It was easy to set up, was nice until wind picked up, not good for out in open field, used my own tiedowns. Needs to be a little bit wider up to window tops. I will probably buy a wider one for next year. Wind cracked that black coating on inside walls. It was trying to colaspe in when realy windy.

      Comments about Ameristep Outhouse Blind:

I am 82 and a tall person using it as a blind for photographic purposes. This blind is EVERYTHING I desire and I am extremely pleased with everything about them. I use a fine collapsable chair and have used this model blind for many years now. With it I have captured many outstanding photographs of wild Ducks other birds. I would recommend it without hesitation. John Salsbury

          Comments about Ameristep Outhouse Blind:

2nd season with this blind, 3 deer shot from it. Def a one person blind, but you can stand up and stretch which is nice! Zippers are noisy when it's cold, but they still work. 2D Tangle is ideal for along the edge of woods along goldenrod. Great product, great price!
