    After hunting in Florida I wanted to see if the game would come in up north as well. I set the timer and my cameras. The experiment is still in progress but I am pleased with the feeder and the way it puts out the feed. (the only caution is when you hit test stand back or you'll get pelted". The feeder throws corn as far as 15-18 ft. Pretty good in my opinion.

    The motor on this thing could not even throw sand it is awful and the battery compartment allows the battery to move around and lose contact. Save your money and buy a moultrie !!

            Our main feeder is a tripod Moultrie and has worked well for several years. Needed a hanging for use farther back in the woods. Tried Moultrie 5g hanging. Went through three that didn't work and sent all back. (Gander was good about replacing quickly.) Finally got this one. A little effort bolting the spreader onto the hopper and the hopper seemed a little cheap at first, like a popcorn tin. But the hopper is actually perfect and this feeder has proved reliable and is a great value for a programmable unit. It's brought in plenty of deer each evening. Recommended.

                Motor needs to be stronger. I had to flick my spinner a few times to get it to work. After I fill it with corn I have to repeat the steps and keep flicking it. I think it just has too much presure on the spinner plate. Other then that I have had mine in the woods for 2 weeks on cheep batteries and they both still work great. Just the start up.

                                This is made of metal. You can also purchase the "Varmint buster" which is an accessory (that this item is set up for) it's gives an electric shock when Squirrels try and get into it to help themselves out. It puts out 2,000 volts.
