I'm using the product to charge a six volt battery to operate a relay that switches a solar pump on and off. Fairly complex situation but it seems to be doing the job. I'd like to have the output specifications printed on the website so that I can determine how much power I will have available per day based on how much sunlight we get.

I'm waiting for old battery to die before connecting the solar charger. But, other than waiting, it appears to be a good product. This will be used to charge a battery for a dear feeder.

A:
Two of these units wired in series (positive of one wired to the negative of the other) would give you the 12 volts you are looking for. The one I bought looked pretty solid and waterproof. I can't imagine a solar module designed to operate a deer feeder that isn't waterproof. It is pretty small so you don't want to try to charge a large battery with it. It just isn't designed to produce that much power.Answered on 7/28/2010 by Stumblintom from Montana
