For the low price this is a great trap/skeet thrower. If you like to get your clays in the air be sure and adjust the angle to max tilt, also on the 2 I've used the hand that holds the clays in position should be about 1/4 the length of the arm from the end or it breaks most of the clays. Will throw singles, and stacked pairs, takes some time to adjust perfectly. Use the tire mount option, the ground mount it comes with will leap out of the ground every throw.

As you can tell I am extremely disapointed in this product. I admittedly have only gone through a box of 90 clays, but it doesnt take long to get discusted when you spend more time monkeying with the thrower than you do using it. I only got to shoot at MAYBE half of the box of clays. The pull cord is frayed where it comes throught the eyelet and is ready to break. I have yet to get a decent throw out of it. I think its so popular because its so cheap, and most people dont bother to return it. I WILL

Comments about Do - All Outdoors Do-All Traps Competitor Target Thrower:
Do not buy! You are better off buying the red plastic hand held thrower. Its rugged and well built but impossible to get adjusted. You have to crank the spring tension screw way down and it still wont throw a clay with sufficient oomph. The metal clamp bends everytime you throw a clay.

Comments about Do - All Outdoors Do-All Traps Competitor Target Thrower:
I bought one of these a few years ago and have run well over 1000 clays through it. Immediately mounted it to a tire and have little to no problems with it. Have even launched two clays at a time without many issues. Plan to by another to add some difficulty for shooters.

Comments about Do - All Outdoors Do-All Traps Competitor Target Thrower:
Arm wouldn't throw clay without additional "push"...dangerous. Launcher arm then snapped off after about 20 clay.

Comments about Do - All Outdoors Do-All Traps Competitor Target Thrower:
This is not a verg good thrower. It does not hold the clays unless the clamp is used and tends to break many.

Q:
My son bought this for me last year. The thrower breaks the targets 70-80% of the time. I have lowered the spring tension but it still breaks the targets. What can I do? I would like to shoot at the targets, but I can not do that if the thrower breaks them for me.Asked on 5/27/2009 by Bob from Rarden, Ohio0 answers
