Comments about Airhead Viper 3 Towable:
Great when first inflated - however - same experience as a lot of reviewers - deflated quickly. Vinyl tears easily. I patched this tube over 11 times in one summer. This tube is a throw away and isn't worth the money. The quality of the bladder doesn't match the elegance of the design.

Comments about Airhead Viper 3 Towable:
We currently have about 7 towables. This was the favorite for the kids, BUT - always has leaks, constantly repairing, Inflatable seat cushions are hard to inflate and leak as well. I patched this tube 9 times in 1 summer. After 1 year - handles are gone, canvas is tearing - basically a throw away. Too Bad, because it is Awesome when it works

Comments about Airhead Viper 3 Towable:
We had two of these last summer (2011). We have 3 younger children and lots of teenage family members, all of which had a blast when the tube worked!!
* The first tube lost all its air after 3 sessions
* They replaced the "outer tube" (did not send us a new complete tube, just the outer tube that leaked)
* The 2nd tube leaked after 2 sessions
* The seats were difficult to inflate but did not leak
* We have other brands of tubes and have not experienced this problem
* Unfortunately they have lost a customer

Comments about Airhead Viper 3 Towable:
I bought this tube for a few of us "older" women. We loved it as well as our teenagers. It doesn't pull on your neck like other tubes do when laying on your stomach. But, after the second used, it lost air.

Comments about Airhead Viper 3 Towable:
Just got my 2rd one after 4 years. The first one will not hold air and I cannot find away to get the bladder out. It had good use. Must lean back when starting or the front will go down in the water. Hard to flip, people ususally bounce out. First one came with tow rope, this one did not. Ad does not tell you that. Manufacturer is just being cheap. Except for front end and tow rope would give it a 5 star

Comments about Airhead Viper 3 Towable:
Our Airhead Viper 3 lasted 2 full summers. It just developed a main bladder leak on July 4th weekend. We used it in very rough water. It was our kids favorite tube. It can be very stable and stays in the wake. But it also can really bounce and the kids have a lot of fun. It can go over the wake with a quick turn and a punch to the throttle. As a driver, it is a little scary to pull. It takes some time to get a feel for pulling it. It has nose dived on me several times. Mainly at slow speeds, once hitting a big wave. For me, if I know it going to hit a big wave, I let up on the throttle. This seems to help. Also at slow speeds, hit neutral as soon as you feel a strong tug. It will pop right up. Have fun and be safe.

Q:
does this product flip easily???Asked on 5/2/2011 by megan from florida5 answers
A:
It doesn't flip easily - Very Wide and stable - Only downside is construction. Lot's of leaksAnswered on 6/10/2012 by Wags at Eagle Mountain from Southlake, TXA:
No, it does not flip easily. However, I just posted a review of the item and would not recommend purchase due to the construction. We have purchased two of the three person ones and both of them have failed at the main bladder and will not hold air. The last about one per year.Answered on 7/5/2011 by Rainbow's End from Cullman, AlabamaA:
no, I have had one for 3 years and it is very stable. It will go high in the air, but has not flipped over.Answered on 7/10/2011 by bill from greensboro, gaA:
I have had one for 4 years and have not flipped it yet. Usually someone will bounce out when it goes high in the air.Answered on 7/16/2011 by bill from greensboro, gaA:
Megan,
It did not flip easily, it is more that people may fall/fly out depending on speed and the wave size they hit...
We have 3 small children and lots of teenaged nieces and nephews and everyone loved riding it (when it worked - see my review)...

Q:
what is the weight limit on this product?Asked on 8/16/2010 by Anonymous1 answer
A:
All tubes have a registered weight limit of 170 pounds per rider. That is a catch 22, they had to formulate a weight, yet people almost twice the weight ride them.Answered on 10/20/2010 by Bryant from Tech

Has anyone tried three adults in here yet? I mean, of course we're buying it for the kids, but I am just curious what it can handle.Asked on 6/2/2009 by leopard from Bartlesville, OK3 answers
A:
Yes it can handle three adults. We have had ours for three years, it is very durable and gives a very steady ride.Answered on 6/6/2009 by CFH from Seattle, WA>A:
Yes we have. Works fineAnswered on 6/5/2009 by tuber from New Iberia, LAA:
this tube is extremely hard to flip...most riders are bounced out if they are thrown. As soon as the boat driver lets off on the gas or slows the turn the tube straightens out immediately. I bought it for kids to have some fun and I found I can have fun throwing them out there and they will stay safe. The only times a kid fell out I accused them of jumping out.
Adults will find it a comfortabel ride but if you have teenagers...it'll be a tube they ride when you've thrown them on a 'real tube'.Answered on 6/16/2009 by Jim Bob from Greer, sc
