abu_garcia The Ambassadeur BCX Baitcast Reel delivers Abu Garcia performance and durability at an affordable price. Thanks to its unique Swedish-engineered design, the reel sits lower on the rod, making it easier to palm. The BCX is an all-around workhorse for all applications. Three stainless-steel ball bearings plus one Corrotech-treated instant anti-reverse roller bearing for corrosion resistance and durability. ADS spool design is able to handle extreme loads. Powerful multi-disk drag system. Synchronized level wind system for even line lay. Six-pin centrifugal brake for control. Recessed reel foot for low profile on rod. Soft-touch thumb bar and thumb rest. Line-out alarm. Comes in right- and left-hand retrieve.

    wish it was better

        great reel love the bait clicker but the button could be easier to operate as it is so small. use this for sturgeon and catfish and come to find out the first time out on a nice sturgeon the drag wont tighten what a disapointment

            It's called different things: A bait clicker, line alarm, or bait clicker. It is used when fishing a static bait. To use it cast out your bait and activate the clicker. Then depress the spool release button (the one you push to cast) to free up the spool. When the fish begins to swim away with your bait, the reel will click, alerting you that something is taking your bait.
