Product Description
511_tactical 5.11 Tactical Series new Taclite Pro Pants are a lightweight version of the 5.11 Classic Pants. Made of lightweight 65% polyester and 35% non-fading polycotton ripstop, these pants are treated with HT Teflon Wear Resistant Finish for stain and soil resistance. A fully gusseted crotch allows for full range of movement. The belt loops are thick enough to support a large belt to carry the weight of a sidearm, cuffs or other equipment. The YKK zippers, Prym snaps and Horn buttons assure that these Taclite Pro Pant will last.

The Taclite Pro Pants have pockets located for easy access to all of your gear. An external knife pocket on the right front side gives you easy access to a 5.11 Tarani Knife. Two cargo pockets are located on both thighs and a magazine/cell phone pocket is located over the left cargo pocket for quick access with your off-hand. The magazine and new knife pocket are reinforced with 100% Cordura nylon. The Taclite Pro Pants feature the traditional slash pockets and web strap in the rear, along with the traditional clip loop on the front. Imported.

        I love these pants. I use them for everyday casual wear, yard work, travel, camping, etc. I took just a pair of these, the taclite shorts, and swim trunks to Costa Rica for 10 days (I pack light). They worked great for the cooler weather in the mountains and at night along the coast. I also use them for multi-day motorcycle camping trips. They pack smaller than jeans, don't show dirt, don't absorb water, and have handy pockets for all the stuff you envitably have around camp, on hikes, or walking around the places you visit.

        The cut is a loose straight-leg. The only downside is break-in can take a bit. I ended up throwing them in with every load of laundry until they faded and softened-up a bit. Surely, this is because the fabric is tough and fade-resistant.

        I bought the olive drab pants and shorts at the same time. I bought my usual 34" waist in both. The shorts definitely feel truer to size. You might want to go up one size in the pants. The length was perfect.

              I am a construction worker, and i love the shooting sport. From the range to the 100 degree weather outside these pants area a lifesaver. I will never wear jeans again. I use all of the pockets they have. They have an excellent range of movement, repel water, light weight, cooler and stains wash off with ease.
