511_tactical Thanks to their comfort and functionality, 5.11 Tactical Pants have become an industry standard for law enforcement, military professionals, and firefighters worldwide, for both on- and off-duty wear.

The tough, 8.5-oz., 100% cotton canvas with a proprietary weave prevents raveling and becomes increasingly more comfortable over time. Features a self-adjusting comfort waistband, double- and triple-needle construction, and 48 bartacks in high-stress areas. The genuine, locking-flange YKK zippers and quality PRYM snaps are top-of-the-line in the industry. Additional quality hardware is found in the front, where a convenient D-ring holds your keys, or ID. The double-reinforced seat and knees provide enhanced abrasion protection, and interior knee slots are ready to accept 6mm neoprene kneepads. At the ankle hemline, built-in blousing strap openings can accommodate 500 cord. Narrow thigh pocket accommodates a magazine, cell phone or utility knife. Extra-deep rear slash pockets will hold extended mags, a baton, even a 15" flashlight. The utility strap can be used to secure a flashlight or store ear protection at the range. Imported.

      I like the way the pants are sewn. Reinforced knees and seat. Pockets are plentiful, and deep. They don't pull in the crotch. Easy to wash and dry quickly. They keep their shape after washing. Very little shrinkage after a wash. I hope to buy more if they put them on sale and add a variety of colors.

        I get depressed when I look in the clean laundry and don't have these pants to throw on. With other pants, I have to figure out how to stow all of the stuff I carry every day. Aside from the many pockets, there are numerous well-placed belt loops that not only hold your belt in place, they aren't in the way of a good holster. Speaking of holsters, the elastic gussets in the waistband are also a great touch. The cut of the back pockets is nothing short of brilliant. It's easy to keep a knife or flashlight clipped in your back pocket instead of the front, which keeps them separated from your keys and such. Yet items clipped in the back pockets are still easily accesible. On top of all that, the price is very reasonable. Pant perfection!
