Comments about 3M Marine Mildew Stain Remover, 500 ml:
After being on the boat on the water from April to October, the white throw life rings were anything but white. They were covered with mildew. I thought I would have to scrub and scrub to get it off, but all I had to do was spray it on and then, after a few seconds, wipe it off. Perfectly white again!

I had some difficult mildew stains on my boatsto remove. I tried several different products that claim to do the same job but none compared to this 3M product. I have repurchased this product again and until I find something better I will continue to do so.

Comments about 3M Marine Mildew Stain Remover, 500 ml:
The cleaner didn't remove all of the mildew, but it did a great job. This was mildew that had been on the seats for years. 1st pass took most of it off and at least dulled it so it is barely visible. Try spraying it and leaving it on there for 10-20 minutes. Certainly worth the $$ spent.

Comments about 3M Marine Mildew Stain Remover, 500 ml:
I have white vinyl seats in my pontoon and for some strange reason that has to do with all the wet weather we had in Minnesota this spring the seats were covered with these black "dots"I called the pontoon manufacturer, asked what was happening and was told it was mildew and quite common this year for some reason[...] 3M [...]made it a super day for me when I watched the mildew disappear!!

Q:
The seats on my Pontoon are "stained" - "discolored" - "mildew", I'm not really sure of the exact condition, regardless, I would like to revitalize the color in some manner. Do you have anything that will not only clean, but reintroduce a color back into the vinyl. The covers are currently a Creme and Dark Green, I would not mind if the Creme color even went to a darker Tan.Asked on 7/16/2009 by Mike from Dover, Ohio1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
You may want to start with a vinyl cleaner and dressing such as 73608. If you don't like the results, you can try our Color Bond line of product such as 71901. If we don't offer a color you need, you may be able to order it through our special order dept. at 1-888-Overton.Answered on 7/20/2009 by Matt from Overtons
