This switch panel is ideal for the smaller boat with limited room to mounts switches, etc.. The relatively small panel provides a fused means to control three items (nav lights, bilge pump, horn or ?)as well as an accessory(lighter) plug-in and battery(s) monitor. Illuminated (when "on")rocker switches are covered in flexible plastic to keep water out and fuse caps have o-rings. However, lighter socket will admit water. Necessary to cut clearance hole in mounting surface slightly smaller than panel. Short mounting screws are included as are an assortment of stick-on labels.

product was easy to install but would prefer the ability to flush mount. very large hole required. Like the switch panel but the battery gauge (my main reason for buying) seems to be fairly useless and inaccurate. this is my second one and it too only reads slightly above the yellow - mid mark - on a fully charged battery testing at 14 volts. Did not even move while the engine was running showing 16 volts at 3k rpm

Q:
Does this item come with a labeling kit?Asked on 5/29/2010 by T. from Portage Lakes OH1 answer
A:
The unit I got came with 12 additional stick on labels that can be applied. Included labels were: DOME LIGHT, COMPASS, "BIGLE PUMP", DECK LIGHT, MASTHEAD LIGHT, SIDE LIGHT, WINDSHIELD WIPER, NAVIGATION LIGHT, BILGE BLOWER, SEARCH LIGHT, RADIO, AND FRIDGE. You could also make your own labels.Answered on 7/9/2010 by Jim from Marshfield, Wisconsin
