  • Q:

I have an older trailer in need of some new tires. The tires I have are Tow-Master A78-13S.T (5 Lug, Load Range B (985lbs), 4.5 inch bolt width). They don't make that model anymore. The equivilant is ST165/80D13 - which I have learned are bias ply tires and very hard to get. The 175/80 X 13 - I believe is the next closest (a larger load range but that shouldn't hurt anything) - but I am afriad I will run into issues where the tire / rim clearance may be an issue. The ones I have are 22.9" O.D and the 175s are 24.2" O.D. Can you tell me if the 175/80 X 13 are the best option?

    Thank you!
