Comments about Shoreline Industries 12V Lift Mate with Quick Connect to Boat Battery:
After getting a workout while cranking the lift I no longer have to wear myself out. I attach the quick disconnect cable to the boat and flip a switch and up it goes. It's pretty easy to assemble. The areas I would concentrate on when installing is to make sure the motor is flush with the wheel and the bungee cord clips are not rubbing on the motor. Otherwise its a piece of cake.

Comments about Shoreline Industries 12V Lift Mate with Quick Connect to Boat Battery:
This unit is a godsend for those of us who have bad rotator cuffs, or if your hoist is awkward to crank from the dock. Get the 12v version (Unless you have 110 voltage already at your dock, the 110v Lift Mate situation--if not properly installed by an electrician who knows what s/he is doing--has the potential of an electrical hazard. I know because my first lift came with the 110v version. I used an inverter to convert 12v to 110v, and the motor didn't last very long). Also, invest in a solar panel, possibly a voltage charger limiter (keeps a large solar panel from overcharging the battery), some cheap shock bungees, and keep your battery fresh for the lift motor and for starting up your boat. This is REALLY easy to put together even for a novice. Hang the panel tilted up in the direction for the most sun during the most sunlight hours with the bungees (even in winds exceeding 50 miles per hour, my panel didn't move). Charging the battery this way, in order to keep it fresh for boat starting and the Lift Mate makes this an all-in one solution.

Comments about Shoreline Industries 12V Lift Mate with Quick Connect to Boat Battery:
This product was easy to install right out of the box. Connection to the battery was simple and all wiring was supplied. All brackets and clamps were supplied and mounted easy. I installed this with a solar panel and had no issues. Again this is a great product and easy to install.
