Product Description
Remington entered the cartridge revolver market in 1875 when it introduced a big-frame, Army-style revolver-a six-shooter-to compete with the Colt Peacemaker. The 1875 Remington single actions kept the solid frame and overall styling of Remington's 1858 percussion models. Ordinary citizens and Old West lawmen alike recognized the sturdy quality of the new Remington revolvers. Uberti's 1875 Army Outlaw, complete with reinforcing bottom blade or sail, embodies the overall styling of the original Remington 1875 models in the popular .45 Long Colt caliber. This model features a case-hardened frame, walnut grips, and a 7.5-inch barrel. |

Comments about Uberti 1875 Army Outlaw Handgun:
Like noted earlier, the exterior finish is great. At the shop, at pickup time, the revolver functioned perfectly. After arrival home and showing how the revolver functions, the cylinder stop revolving. When removing the cylinder, two small pieces of metal fell out, later determined to be a broken hand spring. The interior finish was nowhere near the quality it should be for the price of the pistol. I contacted Uberti warranty service and received a return number for repair or replace. I have a Uberti 1858 BP revolver which is far better made. Perhaps the the Outlaw was made on a Monday. Shopping with Gander on the other hand was great, easy purchase and pickup.
