Product DescriptionWhen maneuverability, carrying ease and venison steaks are the order of the day, H&R's Ultra Light Slug Hunter with a portable 5-1/2 lb. frame, delivers outstanding, long-range accuracy. The Ultra Light Slug is unfailingly dependable, easy to carry, and exceptionally accurate out to the farthest reaches of shotgun range. Its 24" barrel features Ultragon Rifling, which uses six oval lands and grooves without sharp corners like traditional rifling to stabilize spin without distorting the sabot jacket or exterior of the slug, leading to a better gas seal, higher velocities, and more consistent flight characteristics. The pistol-grip stock has a Monte Carlo comb and sling swivel studs installed.

Q:can i shoot Winchester Super-X 12 Ga. Rifled Slugs through this firearmAsked on 7/3/2012 by trapper from sullivan in
A:Yes, it will shoot them, but I wouldn't recommend those slugs for this gun. Rifled slugs work better in smooth-barrel shotguns. The Ultra Slug Hunter is better suited to sabot slugs, such as Hornady SST. With sabot slugs, you will enjoy more accuracy and less fouling.Answered on 10/23/2012 by Mike the Pastor from Orlando, FL
Q:How long is the gun?Asked on 9/12/2010 by Caleb from Charleston,WV
Q:what is the reasonable range to expect out of this rifle please?Asked on 5/8/2010 by kevin from north texas
A:We wouldn't recommend attempting over a 50 yard shot. Even a shot of that range will require practice and increase your chances for failure. This will be the case with any shotgun.Answered on 5/10/2010 by Charlie from Gander Tech
A:I HAVE BEENUSING ONE FOR SEVEN YEARS.TWO INCH GROUPS @ 100 YDS. IS NO PROBLEM.A FRIEND TOOK A BUCK @137 YDS. USE LIGHTFIELD SABOT SLUGS. THIS IS THE MOST ACCURATE SLUG GUN OUT THERE BAR NONE!Answered on 3/18/2012 by PAULER from HARTLY,DE.

Q:How much is the total weight of the gun? What size shell is it chambered for? Is the barrel rifled?Asked on 4/6/2010 by Badger from Gilman, wi
A:the barrel is rifled it weighs about 14 lbs I use 2 3/4" shells but you can use 3" alsoAnswered on 7/23/2010 by Andrew from monroe NY
Q:Does this gun have the heavy barrel or is it just a standard 12ga. barrel?Asked on 3/16/2010 by JD from Saginaw, Mi
A:Not sure who answered the question before me but the barrel is a heavy barrel. Twice as thick as your normal barrel. Prevents flex on discharge which is why it has the accurracy of a rifle with the proper ammo.Answered on 10/1/2012 by The chamealon from Bluffton, IN
A:It is not the heavy barrel.Answered on 9/24/2010 by Curt from Michigan
