    I looked at local retailers, including West Marine (Their prices were over double what Overtons sells this item for). I could not locate this item for a reasonable price and almost went with ...Read complete review

    I looked at local retailers, including West Marine (Their prices were over double what Overtons sells this item for). I could not locate this item for a reasonable price and almost went with ratcheting load straps, which I already have. I then found them on the Overtons site. The price was great and I ordered them. They were shipped promptly. These are must haves for my pontoon boat as the frame flexes when moving and the straps eliminate that. The last pair (identical) lasted over 10 years and were always attached to the boat and in the weather. 5 years in Oregon and 5 years in the desert in Lake Havasu City, AZ. I will only put the new ones on when travelling so should last the rest of my life.
