I put these on my pontoon as a replacement since I wanted to go with LED. These lasted less then a season. They are "NOT" waterproof. Water and condensation was in the lights. Avoid these! Extremely disappointed!

Comments about Attwood Marine Attwood LED Deck-Mount Red Port Light With 1 NM Visibility:
Replaced with these last weekend. Easy install, two wires, and no hiccups. Start with the right tools & parts including butt connectors and a heat gun. The unit is waterproof, but they're covering a hole at the bow of your boat. Do it right. Lights are super-bright (I was concerned they wouldn't be). It was really nice to look out from the cockpit and see the little indicators on the top of the units glowing. It was very easy to see they were on. And with LEDs, you don't have to climb out there and "Fonzie" your lights to make them come on (I hated that!). Highly recommended update.
