Check Line Size!
Make sure that you are using small diameter line. I had to return mine and get another product. Too bad, since it is a very clean design.

Comments about Taylor Made Rail Fender Bracket, pair:
Great product, especially for bumpers with ropes tied to them. I cut a piece of rope the length I wanted, ran it through the clip (with a little extra sticking out), and now I have a perfect length bumper ready to go with ultra fast installation....I just snap it to one of the handles on my boat. Great product.

Q:
How large of a diameter rope can these support? Does the length of the rope have to be perfect or where does the excess length of rope hang? Hard to tell from the picture if excess rope is possible or if there is a knot inside the clamp that is holding the end of rope opposite the fender.Asked on 6/1/2010 by Anonymous2 answers

Q:
Is this the type that just snaps (or clamps) onto the boat rail so you can remove it, the fender and line immediatley when you cast off from the dock? I don't want anything that you have to tie or wrap the line with fender around the rail and keep untying it all of the time. I have a different type now that is very old and works great but I can't find this same type again. This product looks similar to the one I have now.Asked on 7/6/2009 by Jennie1 answer
CUSTOMER CARE
A:
Yes, this item clamps to the rail and has a double locking design that provides quick and easy fender height adjustment.Answered on 7/10/2009 by Ryan from Overtons
