      Comments about Ruger Single-Nine Handgun:

I use this fine revolver for recreational shooting and small game hunting. The weight allows for a steady aim. The William's fiber optic sights are easy to set on target. The working mechanisms are high quality for loading and unloading. Every move is deliberate making it a good handgun to teach someone to shoot safely. It's an easy revolver to clean. Trigger pull is a nice squeeze. A new model stainless Single Six Combination 5.5 in barrel was added to the collection. Two fine plinkers on board.

      Comments about Ruger Single-Nine Handgun:

I bought this mainly for small game/varmint hunting. The 6-1/2" barrel gives you top handgun velocity with .22 WMR, giving you .22 LR rifle velocity and power, in a handgun. Stainless steel is great for outdoor use, and looks sharp. 9-shot cylinder capacity extends time between having to reload. Very solid build quality. Excellent accuracy, I get sub 1 inch groups at 50' using CCI ammo, and with a 50' zero shoots flat to 50 yards. The fiber optic sights are nice in low light situations, like grey squirrel hunting at dusk and dawn, yet still has a flat top post front sight for paper punching. The factory wooden grips are comfortable. The trigger pull could be better. One more thing, wear hearing protection, this baby's LOUD. Overall, a high quality rugged handgun that will last and last.

        Comments about Ruger Single-Nine Handgun:

I also have a Ruger single-six 44 mag. It's fun to shoot but ammo is costly. The 22 mag has punch and the ammo is affordable.
