Ithaca's Deerslayer II is designed for the type of hunter that like to spend their time stalking quarry through the woods or patiently waiting in a deer stand. The Deerslayer II is equipped with Marble Arms fiber-optic rifle sights for shots through the leaves and briars, but is also drilled and tapped for the Weaver #62 rail so you can mount the scope of your choice. The barrel is fully-rifled with a patent-pending solderless barrel system that gives it the strongest, truest barrel of any slug gun. The Deerslayer also provides shooters with a robust extraction for today's high power ammunition and a crisp, rifle-like 4 to 6 pound trigger pull. The receiver is machined from a solid block of steel and paired with a fancy black walnut stock and forend. A Pachmayr 750 Decelerator recoil pad comes standard.
