Product Description
sig_sauer With the introduction of the P938, Sig Sauer now offers the ballistic advantage of the 9mm cartridge in a platform similar in size to the best-selling P238 pistol. With dimensions just slightly larger than its .380 ACP counterpart, the P938 packs six plus one rounds of 9mm into an all-metal frame. A single-action-only trigger, coupled with full-sized SigLite Night Sights means the P938 handles like a much larger pistol, yet is still easy to carry concealed. Fans of the 1911 will find the thumb safety, magazine release, and slide stop lever in familiar places. An ambidextrous safety makes the P938 easy for left- and right-handed shooters. The Blackwood edition pairs a natural stainless steel slide and black hard coat anodized alloy frame with Hogue Blackwood grips.

Comments about Sig Sauer P938 Blackwood Handgun:

I would strongly suggest in purchasing the 7 round extended magazine. With the extended mag the firearm fits comfortably in my hand, a perfect fix. Without the extended mag I have trouble finding a comfortable grip.

Comments about Sig Sauer P938 Blackwood Handgun:

I have several CCW but have problems cocking due to arthritis in my wrist. Prior to the P938 have been carrying a 380 due to ease of cocking. The P938's design eliminates the problem. I have shot several brands of ammunition and haven't had any feed problems or mis-fire.

Comments about Sig Sauer P938 Blackwood Handgun:

I wanted a concealable pocket pistol and was looking at the P238. Changed my mind after researching the P938 since I already have a couple of 9mm Glocks. Keeping the ammo was a good point. I was a little concerned about the recoil with such a small pistol, but put 30 rounds downrange with no problem. It feels about the same amount of recoil as my Glock 19. Very controllable, although I highly recommend the 7 round extended mag that adds a spot for the little finger. This is NOT a long range target pistol, but is extremely accurate up to 7-10 yards. With a pocket holster, this pistol disappears. IWB holster, just as nice. I plan to get my wife to the range and will likely be purchasing a second one for her. (Yes, SHE has a CCW too.)

Comments about Sig Sauer P938 Blackwood Handgun:

Bought this gun so in the future when I get my CHL I can carry it with me. Been to the range several times with it and it performed flawlessly. It fits great in my hand. I find that the recoil isn't bad at all. Can't go wrong with a Sig Sauer.
