Fit-Step - The innovative and biomechanical aluminum Fit-Step frame, designed with a slightly upturned, rounded tail, reduced muscular skeletal impact on hip, knee, and ankle joints by 10%.
SoftTec Decking - Provides durable, lightweight flotation.
Rotating Toe Cord Rotation Limiter - Rotating Toe Cord design enables the tail of the snowshoe to drop and snow to shed off the tail, reducing cardio-respiratory strain by 7%. The underfoot pivot point also allows the toe traction teeth to bite deeply into the snow when weighted. A rotation limiter prevents over-rotation and shin bang.
180 Pro Binding - Tubbs' most robust 180 Series binding, the gender-specific 180 Pro features extended rigid Control Wings, a locking heel strap, and a contoured, padded upper for pressure-free comfort and added warmth.
Cobra Crampon - The carbon steel Cobra toe crampon, located under the ball of the foot, provides constant penetrating contact in variable snow conditions. Jagged tooth construction improves grip on packed snow and ice.
ActiveLift - Designed to make steep ascents easier, the ActiveLift heel lift reduces calf fatigue and Achilles tendon strain when climbing. The heel lift can be easily pulled up and down with the handle of your snowshoe pole. The 16° Day Hiking heel lift is designed for moderate terrain.

Comments about Tubbs Men's Wilderness Snowshoe:
Our Tubbs wilderness snowshoes performed extremely well in all the snow conditions we had in Minnesota this winter, from heavy wet, to powder, to ice. Yup, we stayed upright and on top of the snow! We found them easy to use in varied terraine including swamps, woods and open country. Still recovering from reconstructive foot surgery they are easy to adjust on your boot and are incredibly stable and comfortable. They move very well with your stride and have not experienced any strain on body. A new, great way to exercise and enjoy the great outdoors. The only complaint is snow will melt and will have to wait till next winter to enjoy again. I think we are going to buy an extra pair or two to share the experience with family or friends.
