Comments about Berkley Vanish Fluorocarbon Fishing Line, Clear:
I've been using this line for 4 or 5 years now and it has not given me any reasons to change. It's the only fluorocarbon line I've tried so I can't compare it to other lines aside from being less costly. It's a good strong line that especially is good to use in very clear water situations. Great for any subsurface presentations; it doesn't work well with topwater presentations since it sinks. I use 10lb. test and have not had a fish break my line yet, aside from those that were due to a poor knot on my part. You have to pay a little extra attention to it the first few times out to avoid tangles, but once broken in it will work great all season long.

I use this in 4lb test for small stream trout. It handles about as well as regular mono and costs less than most other flurocarbon lines.
