Designed for the avid fisherman, the Prowler 15T features carefully thought out mounting and storage systems for all of your fishing accessories. The Prowler 15T's 550-lb. capacity supports you and your gear with ease, and 15 ft. hull provides the speed to cover extra water. Skid plate at rear of kayak increases durability. Oversized tank well with bungee stores all your gear securely. Large, 17.5" x 10.5" bow hatch with Cross Lock Buckle System stores extra gear away from splashes. Comfort Plus adjustable, padded seat back guarantees a comfortable day out on the water. Large cockpit area with adjustable footbraces and molded-in foot wells provide ample paddling comfort. Sonar Shield cover offers a protected area to mount and store your fish finder (fish finder not included); cover also protects contents against sun and spray. Rod Pod storage area provides easy access to spare fishing rods while you're paddling. Cockpit-deployable rudder system with foot-pedal controls helps you paddle in a straight line and enhances maneuverability. Durable linear polyethylene construction with molded-in graphics delivers years of faithful service and easy maintenance. This kayak is stable yet fast, i purchased the Ocean Kayak Prowler Ultra 4.7 [...], which is this kayak with extra features! It is well worth the money, I researched for 2 months to find the est kayak for under $2000 and the Prowlers and Prowler Trident anglers are by far the best! The kayaks handle greatly in open water and bays ( i have yet to fish freshwater but i think it will do great there too! ) I would definitely reccomend buying a rudder because a large yak like this is hard to steer on a windy day without a rudder.
