    This was for my 11 year old for Christmas. He wanted to try a bow. I wanted an inexpensive set. He was able to figure it out himself and has used it every day. He sets up boxes in the yard and shoots at different ranges. Money well spent for a beginner if you are not sure if they will like it as a hobby. Arrows have taken a beating, but have held up so far. Bow is very good for a beginner.

    I teach archery to middle schoolers. This is the bow of choice for lessons. Fairly easy to string (except for the smallest of students). Not the most accurate of bows and it lacks the penetrating power necessary for hunting, but this bow is a great starter.
