      This was my first time serving a bow string and this jig made me look Good, incredible Smoothness and tightness of serving, I can't say enough on how easy and fluent this jig is for replacing a center serving or building a new string your self.
      The only Con was that with a spool mounted it won't fit back in the case that comes with it.

          I make a lot of bowstrings and have tried four different varieties of string servers. This one easily rises to the top of the list.

          The first time you thread a Bearpaw is a bit odd, but the lacing diagram is molded onto the body of the unit. Tensioning is superb for getting smooth, tight servings. The step-back shoulders don't get in the way and are one of the big pluses of this server.

                  I needed to reserve my string and wanted to do it myself. Bought this from the local store and already had serving thread so it only took me about 30 minutes to serve it up the first time. I like being able to do all my work myself and this tool takes care of making or replacing my own servings.
