After years of buying Rocky boots and experiencing cold feet at low temps. I decided to try out LaCrosse. I purchased the 2000 Hunting Pac Boots and wore them the entire bow hunting season. Not once did my feet get cold. I didn't even have to wear heavy socks. These boots are fantastic !! and I plan on buying the same boot again when these wear out. Great Job LaCrose !!

I bought these to replace my Rocky Bearclaw boots that are no longer usable because the soles have dry rotted out on me (this is the second pair that this has happened to me) I've had a pair of Iceman Pac's since 89' as back-up pair and love them.

Finally (!) a boot that actually keeps my feet warm in the stand all day. I did buy one size larger than my regular size, and with thick socks my toes are able to move well and have good circulation. They're a bit loose to hike in, but that's not what these are for. They'll keep your feet warm in the deer stand and while ice fishing too (I'd think, since I do all my fishing from the safety of a boat...).

I would try these on before purchasing as they do run small like other reviews have stated. I had to buy them in 1 size larger then my normal size. This is my first pair of lacrosse hunting boots & so far I'm impressed. They feel very comfortable, warm & appear to be very well built. I look fwd to seeing how these boots can handle the cold & snow!

I have used these boots all through bow season (temps ranging from 79-degrees down to the low 30's later in the season). Here is what amazed me: my feet did not overheat on the warm days after going on long hikes. Comfortable on the colder days (low 30's) when I was motionless for 8+ hrs. I'm looking forward to putting them to the test ice fishing on the coldest days. I have confidence that my days of cold toes are over. Note: try them on before you buy them...The one's that fit best were 1 ½ size bigger than what I anticipated. The sales rep told me that it's normal with these boots. You'll be shocked how light weight they are.
