This is a very good product. I had it mixed up in my mind with other purchase I made and gave it a bad review. I am sorry for that

Comments about X-Factor™ 5" Bob 'N Weave Lure:
I buy 5-8 packs every 3rd thursday of the month at my local gander. [...] Flat out, if I were a fish I would CRUSH this lure. sometimes I think about jumping in and hitting it when its about 5' from the bank. The only downfall...bass hit them so hard that they dont last so long. waste not want not though, tear off the head and get all the use you can. the action is not all that that affected by the half inch that you lose after a few fish. The action is down right insane! TRY THIS LURE. just dont go to the greenwood IN Gander on the third thursday of the month and buy the watermellon/ghost red color or I will be very upset.

Q:
What size and style of hooks do you recommend for this bait? I was using a heavy action rod and still wasnt able to drive the hook through the bait into the fish. I like the action of the lure and have numerous fish on but can't seem to hook them.Asked on 7/9/2010 by badgerfan9 from Stevens Point, WI3 answers
A:
I use a medium action Abu Garcia Veritous rod with premer reel. I find florocarbon line works best with a 3/0 deep throat wide gap hook
hope this helpsAnswered on 6/6/2012 by Andrew Benbenek from Cicero NYA:
A heavier action rod probably wont help, use a bigger hook. I like to have my hook half the length of the lure. I use gamakatsu hooks but go with tro kar if you have the money.Answered on 11/15/2010 by BOBBY from Grand Rapids, MIA:
I use large flukes like this regularly for smallmouth and largemouth in a fast flowing river. Setting the hook is usually difficult. I use a 5/0 or 6/0 extra wide gap sharp hook. Two methods work keep the hook on the outside of the lure, following the lure's shape and jump skin hook the tip into the side of the fluke toward the top. Or use a sharp knife and cut a slit all the way through the slot of the fluke so it can slide freely through the fluke and skin hook the hook tip along the exit side.Answered on 7/16/2012 by MikeC from Lexington, SC
