A redesign of The North Face's bestselling convertible pant, the Paramount Peak features modernized style lines, eco-friendly fabrics, extra carrying capacity, and improved durability. Made of durable, midweight, abrasion-resistant nylon faille fabric and treated with a DWR finish for water repellency and quick drying. It also offers UPF 30 sun protection. Pant legs zip off to convert into a longer 10" short. Partial elastic waistband with included belt. Color-coded side-leg zips for easy on and off. Two front waist pockets with zippered security pocket near right pocket. Two side cargo pockets for securing extra gear. Two large-capacity back pockets. Gusseted crotch for increased mobility. Zippered fly. Strong, TEX40 thread throughout for increased durability. Imported.

          I ordered a lot of different vendor's convertible pants in different sizes and features and these pants are the most comfortable and practicle. They offer enough roominess for ease of movement, but not too much to look like you're wearing a bag. The pockets are deep and the security pocket keeps documents secure. The fabric is definitely medium weight and is very durable and well constructed. The cons: would like to see expandable cargo pockets and the hook and loop closures are not as secure as I'd like. But these are minor inconveniences compared to the overall quality of this North Face garment. I happened to order another pair in a different color.

            Well worth the [$] I paid for them - But worth finding the right leg length to fit you as difficult to hem legs as have built in leg zippers for going over boots. Great pockets and the material is the best.

                My husband had owned a pair of these in the tan color for about 5 years and he wore them all the time!! They were his go to pants for fishing, camping, or just hanging out here in the house. Unfortunately after 5 years of wearing them probably 3 out of the 7 days in a week the zipper finally gave out.

                He tried to buy another brand, but they just weren't the same. They didn't fit right or look right... needless to say they have been returned.

                I decided to get him another pair... Early Christmas present... little does he know that along with the tan he is also getting a green pair!!

                Thank you for making such a wonderful product... keep it up and we'll keep buying!!!
