Best gun I've ever had, and you can't beat the price. Team it up with a redfield revenge scope hunter reticle and you'll have a force to be reckoned with.

Comments about Marlin® Model XL7 Centerfire Rifle:

I hunt with this Rifle and accuracy is very important to me. The Marlin Delivers, with Remington 150 grain PSP Core-Loct ammo it shot a 3/4 " three shot group at 100 yds out of the box. This was with a Barska 4x16 50mm mil-dot Sniper Scope with 1/8 minute Target Turrets mounted on it. It may be even more accurate with different ammo but this was the first i tried. The Trigger was great out of the box and the test group was with no adjustments. I personally like the trigger a little lighter and adjusted it after the test group, it was easy to adjust. It will be interesting to try different bullet weights and brands of ammo to see just how accurate it can be but it is great even if it doesn't.

Unbelievable gun for the money. Not an entry level gun but you pay entry level money. It shoots as well as my Winchester Model 64.

Comments about Marlin® Model XL7 Centerfire Rifle:

i deer hunt with my 30-06 xl7. This gun has alot of features for a whole lot less buck. It has a free floating barrel, adjustable trigger,22inc barell.fluted bolt and a whole lot more. The only draw back is the bolt wants to come open while slung on your shoulder and the internal magazine spring is a little tough but thats nothing that leaving a few empty hulls wont weaken over time.
