Comments about Thompson/Center Arms Triumph® Bone Collector™ Weather Shield™ Muzzleloader:

Anyone who has ever shot a muzzleloader knows that your one shot counts. This gun is accurate. I was a fan of traditons until i bought this gun. 100 grains of 777 with any power belt bullet and you got a winning combo. The one thing i do not like is the plug. They say its turns and comes out easy. Not always the case. but it is better and quicker than the older models. Finally the weather shield. wow. im on my 3 year and the cleaning of the barrel is next to nothing. ive wiped it down just a hand full of times and no rust. That gun with the proper care will last you a life time.

Comments about Thompson/Center Arms Triumph® Bone Collector™ Weather Shield™ Muzzleloader:

Bought the Bone Collector camo version from GM and topped it off with a Leupold VX3 3-10X50 scope. After shooting spring and summer, I found 90 grains BH209 powder pushing a Barnes Spitfire T-EZ 250 grain bullet with Harvestor sabot and sparked with CCI 209 primer to provide groups of .60" at 100 yards (4 shots). It takes some concentration to group that well because it is a light firearm but if I can do it - so can you. The bore is very tight - even the T-EZ sabots were very hard to get down the barrel. The Harvestor crush rib sabots did the trick. Very accurate, light recoiling and good looking muzzleloader. You cannot go wrong with the Bone Collector!

No, it doesn't and in my experience, this is a good thing. I owned the Encore last year and sold it within months. No matter how careful I was removing each barrel and scope to switch back and forth to the .270, it would have to be sited in again. This became very frustrating and not worth the hassel.

No, this is a dedicated barrel muzzle loader.
