These have just enough power to stick an arrow into a burlap over hay target from a new/beginner. Twin 5 year olds and a 4 year old had a blast after learning safety and the basics.These are not toys and they will be locked in the safe every time we are finished.I can see where lack of training will allow overdraw leading to a broken bow...Supervision and training is the key as these are designed for little-ones learning their first shot from a bow.

    purchased this for my nephew this weekend for his 6th birthday. Took a few times trying it out to get the feel of how to shoot but he loves it. It's just powerful enough for him. The target included as an nice extra. Sure he will have fun with it this summer.

      bought this bow for my 7 yr old daughter , its a great beginner bow and can be accurate for 25+ yrds if your form is good (buy a couple better arrows and the accuracy will be greatly improved) well worthit and easy for my 7 yr old to handle . she loves it and i plan to upgrade in due time but overly glad to make the purchase and no complaints on the price!!

              Great starter bow for a 6 yr old. Easy to draw and handle.

              Service and delivery comments:

              Very poor service from Fed-Ex. Driver had package on truck for 5 days. Tracking data stated delivery attempted each day. I was home during that period - no attempts were made. I started calling Fed-Ex to arrange a pickup and was unable to gain cooperation. I was told there was "no way for management to contact drivers while on their route". Seriously? I was promised it would be delivered "the next day". When the package didn't show, I called again and offered to drive to the facility 50 miles away or have a friend receive the package at a business address. I was told the new delivery address would be fine and I would receive it the next day. The package didn't show at the business address, instead I recevied a call at home around 7pm and was advised that if I wanted the package I would have to be at a location in town in 20 minutes. I complied and waited 45 minutes to receive the package. I had a similar problem last Christmas only the Fed Ex driver had multiple packages on board for 9 days and we didn't receive the gifts until the week after the holiday. No problems with USPS or UPS delivering to the door as promised and on time. I will refuse to do business with any retailer that doesn't offer shipping method other than Fed Ex.
