Not waterproof

At first I liked these boots, but when the weather started getting colder they became useless. I wear these boots when it is cold, but anything colder than 40 degree weather and my feet...Read complete review

At first I liked these boots, but when the weather started getting colder they became useless. I wear these boots when it is cold, but anything colder than 40 degree weather and my feet will become numb after a few hours. Dew from the grass completely soaks these boots - these boots are not waterproof in the slightest.

I bought a pair of these boots before I went on a 8 day pheasant hunting trip. Brand new out of the box I really liked them. 4 days into the trip, the rubber toe gaurd on both boots split from the boot. Wore them anyway, 7th day the sole seperated from both boots. These boots werent in water, only moisture from frost in the morning and they failed terribly. Complete waste of money this pair was. I ended up hunting in my tennis shoes the last day as my boots had completely fell apart. So in my opinion, they are junk.

      I hunt northern new york and its swamp land but thers also dry land and just by walking thru the grass with the morning dew my feet were so wet i could squeeze th e water from my socks so then cuz they were wet they got cold so i would not recommend these boots unless theres no water where you are..

      These boots held up great through one hunting season. During the second season, everything that could come apart did. One lace even unraveled! Very comfortable, lightweight, warm. Everything you want in a hunting boot. It just didn't hold up long enough.

      This boot is extremely confortable to wear, very light weight, good fit. However, the 1st time I wore them in the rain they leaked badly--- feet were soaked. Since this occurrence, the boots have taken on a very musty(mildew) smell, so much I can not leave them in the house. Additionally, they appear to be rotting as the lace eyelets are beginning to rip out. I do not recommend buying these boots.

          I wore these boots on a recent hunting outing. The boots felt great, no break-in needed. they are extremely light in weight. My feet did not get cold after sitting in a stand for 3 hrs. temp 40 degrees. However, when walking thru dense brush when it started to rain, my feet became quite wet. I would prefer D rings for lacing rather than the hooks the boots came with. Other than the leaking,I find these boots a great buy for the money.
