    I have bought 2 pairs of different Rocky boots in the past several years, the first were CornStalkers and the most recent was a pair of Bear Claws a couple years ago. Both had a real problem with their outsoles, a BIG problem. After just a few years the outsoles just disintegrate right off in little pieces. I was only wearing those boots for deer shotgun season here in IL (7 days a year) and maybe a few other times in snow. Boots shouldn't just fall apart after only wearing them a few times. The 1st time Rocky did the right thing and resoled them for free, and that is the only reason I bought the 2nd pair of Bear Claws this time. My mistake! I just got off the phone from Rocky and this time they are refusing to fix them, even though they agree the boots they sell shouldn't do this. They suggest I buy another pair of their boots. I had to inform her I would never buy another pair of Rocky boots as long as I live. 2 for 2 is all I can stand!!
    I just thought everyone should know my experiences and that Rocky will not stand behind their boots anymore.
    I would have given Rocky zero stars, but you can't give less than one star.

      I HAVE OWNED 3 PAIRS OF ROCKY RATTLERS, THEY ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE AND LIGHT BOOTS I HAVE EVER OWNED.
      I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PAIR. THE REASON I HAVE OWNED THREE IS BECAUSE I KEEP TRADING THEM IN TO FIND ONES THAT ARE WATERPROOF!! ON MY THIRD PAIR I HAVE FOUND ANOTHER PROBLEM, THE SOLE IS COMING OFF! OH YEAH, AND THEY'RE NOT WATERPROOF EITHER.
      I NOW OWN 2 PAIRS OF LACROSS RUBBER BOOTS, NOT AS COMFORTABLE, BUT AT LEAST I AM STAYING DRY.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      Used for hunting in warmer weather. I liked the idea about having a side zipper. May not buy another side zip since the zipper hangs up on the nylon lining. Had to cut the zipper loose resulting in it breaking. I contacted Rocky customer service about 3 weeks ago and they still have not responded. I would not recommend spending the money these boots cost just to get the zipper.

      Boots leaked on 3rd trip to the woods. The boots are comfortable and I love wearing them. I have walked many miles in these and the feel great.
      This is my 3rd set of snake boots that leak. I refuse to go without snake boots, we are loaded with cotton mouths and rattlers. I don't care what it costs, I want someone to make a snake boot that keeps your feet dry! These boots get my feet wet when there is dew on tall grass. I will not buy another pair of Rockys, they misrepresent the product.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
