8 lb test was a nightmare for long casting. I used it with line spray. There were constant bird's nests and line broke easily. However, I did seem to catch more fish than with 6 lb P-line using same lure at same fishing spot but lines were used on different days, so hard to say if it was the line that made the difference. I will try the overpriced Invizx as a last resort for fluorocarbon. I believe I have tried most of the cheaper ones with similar results. I do like the P-Line for strength, manageability and price, but it is more visible in the water than 100% fluoro.
