bounty_hunter This easy to use metal detector features one-touch depth control, push button discrimination, and a three-tone audio feedback that alerts you when a target is identified. The LCD screen is easy to read and has a four-segment digital target readout and low battery indicator. The stem of the metal detector is fully adjustable, and the detector's sensitivity can be set for specific applications. Its 8" open face coil system is the largest offered by Bounty Hunter. Requires two, 9-volt batteries (not included). 1/4" headphone jack. Each Quick Silver metal detector comes with a free pin pointer to zone in on your underground finds. 5 year warranty.

            I bought this for my son. You can take this thing in the middle of a field. Hold it in the air, near the ground. It doesnt matter what setting it is on it will sound alarms the whole time. I held it to tree, rock, rubber tire, etc. same thing.
