    just purchased my third one today and im very pleased with the quality and ease of use with this reel. I have many abu winches diawa vientos curados and other reels but i keep on picking the citicas over them. great all around reel for the money!

                My first baitcaster. I can already tell this is a high quality reel. It seeems to be made with solid construction. The VBS system makes is very versatile, especially for people first learning to use a baitcaster. I can cast far with this reel, even with a stiff, fast action flipping rod. Great for the money! Love the star drag because it's easy to adjust. Shimano is such a great company...If you're getting this as your first baitcaster, I recommend an Abu Garcia Vendetta rod to go wtih it. They are cheap but actually quite well constructed. Plus, they look VERY nice with this reel. All in all, 5/5. Could not be more pleased.
