The blind sets up easy, but the fabric is noisy and not effective in windy conditions. In light rain, water will drip in through any open windows. It will not stay standing with snow fall, the weight of the snow will collapse it. It's not a roomy blind, with the seat and yourslf in there, you'll have room for your gun and a back pack. It's too small for bow hunting out of. you can stand up to stretch your legs, I'm 6'2" so I have to nod my head a little. Good buy when you find it on sale, I wouldn't pay regular price for it. Better yet, spend the extra money and get a hub style blind.

Comments about Ameristep® G10 Ground Blind:

Deer season, Shot a large doe at 3 yards, yes that's right 3 yards. So glad I spent the time on the range all summer. That 100 yard zero really paid off. I built a brush pile before the season and pounded in some rebar to wire some of the brush to. I only have a shooting lane for each window and a opening in the back to get in and out of. From a distance it is just another brush pile. Just remember to bring the hut with you when you build the brush pile.

Comments about Ameristep® G10 Ground Blind:

This is all I use anymore. I bought three camp chairs, one for each. Set them up a month or so before the season. I pile brush around it to make it fit in just leaving a spot in the back to enter. Anchor it with real tent stakes, not the pins that come with it. I also anchor it to near by trees with black para-cord. I use an upside down five gallon pail for a table, It also holds a large "pee bottle" and I'm good for the whole day. I also wear a black ski mask or a camo one and they can't see you move if you do. Shot a doe from one at a range of 3 yards with my muzzleloader. She had powder burns on her fur. These things just plain work.

It's made from a water resistant/proof type of nylon, and about 78" inside. I'm 6'2" and have plenty of room to stand up. You must be sitting to shoot out of it though. You'll need a seat.

Yes the interior supports stay in, I believe they are made of a steel spring material, they allow a lot of flexibility when storing, but spring out when released.
